Strip Fiberglass Profiles - Professional FRP/GRP Structural Solutions
Strip Fiberglass Profiles
Strip fiberglass profiles are flat structural elements manufactured through the pultrusion process. Made from glass fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) or glass reinforced plastic (GRP), these strips provide corrosion resistance, electrical insulation and low weight for industrial and construction applications.
These profiles are produced using pultrusion machines and pultrusion dies. For a complete range of structural shapes, see our pultruded FRP profiles.
Manufacturing & Material Composition
Strip fiberglass profiles are manufactured by pulling continuous glass fiber reinforcements through a resin bath and a heated die. This process creates a composite with consistent cross-sectional dimensions and uniform fiber distribution along the length of the profile.
Glass Fiber Reinforcement: Continuous E-glass fibers for structural strength
Resin Matrix Options: Polyester, vinyl ester or epoxy resins
Fiber Content: Optimized for strength-to-weight performance

FAQ
What are strip fiberglass profiles used for?
Strip fiberglass profiles are used for structural reinforcement, cable trays, mounting brackets, edge protection, support grids and framing in construction, marine, electrical, chemical processing and industrial applications.
What are the advantages of fiberglass strip profiles?
Fiberglass strip profiles offer a good strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, electrical insulation and low maintenance requirements. They are lighter than steel and can provide comparable structural performance in many corrosive environments.
Are fiberglass strip profiles corrosion resistant?
Yes. Fiberglass strip profiles resist moisture, chemicals, salt exposure and weathering in many applications, making them suitable for marine structures, chemical plants, wastewater facilities and coastal infrastructure.
What sizes are available for fiberglass strip profiles?
Fiberglass strip profiles are available in a range of widths, thicknesses and lengths. Custom dimensions can be manufactured for specific project requirements.
Do fiberglass strip profiles provide electrical insulation?
Yes. Fiberglass strip profiles are non-conductive, making them suitable for electrical enclosures, transformer supports, cable management and other applications where electrical insulation is important.
Can fiberglass strip profiles be customized?
Yes. Strip profiles can be customized in width, thickness, length, surface texture, color, resin system and fiber orientation to meet structural, architectural and industrial project specifications.
What industries use fiberglass strip profiles?
Fiberglass strip profiles are used in construction, marine engineering, electrical utilities, chemical processing and manufacturing where corrosion resistance, light weight and electrical insulation are valued.
